Thanks for taking the time to browse through my online portfolio. I first sat down in from of a Mac in 1986. It was an SE20 with a tiny screen. I've been growing with the technology ever since, and can finally say that I'm a shareholder in Apple. I truly Luv My Mac and the lifestyle it affords me, the creativity it produces from me, and the grace with which it happens. This is why I've begun Luv Yr Mac and Luv Yr Website consultations and classes. There's so much to learn from each other, and this is a productive and exciting forum to set up your systems so they work smoothly for you. Then all you have to do is create! I began my career in design, graphic production, and publishing in the early 1970's, and for a time was the only woman running a printing press in Westchester County, New York. Before leaving the East Coast, I spent two years as the art director of Cherry Lane Music, publishers of the music of John Denver, Emmylou Harris, Kenny Rogers, The Blues Brothers, Donna Summer, KISS, and so many more. That was my last “real” job. In 1982, I moved to Maui, Hawaii and began my studies of Hawaiian Huna and Native American spirituality, a passionate interest which has been both my hearthstone and my driving force since I first sat in community for a Medicine Wheel ceremony. Through this work, I was surrounded by others drawn to the study of alternative healing methods. They all needed business cards, and I began creating their promotional materials and, of course, sampling many of the healing, dynamic, inventive, intuitive, powerful, and sometimes silly things people can do to assist each other in healing and balancing their lives. When I moved to California in 1986, I began leading regular full moon Medicine Wheel circles as well as working with individuals It's easy to see from my photography that I get my inspiration from nature, people, and my cats who have been patient models for me as I've learned to love digital photography. My visits and vacations to the Point Reyes, California and the Hawaiian islands make my heart sing and my camera click, so I've included several of my favorite photos of these areas. Along with my focus on complementary healing arts, I have been the graphic designer for the California Partnership to End Domestic Violence (CPEDV) and have been assisting them with their Newsletter and other printed materials since 1998.
